**The program and general education courses within the program are subject to approval and changes mandated by the Texas Board of Nursing.
 
Applicants should consult the nursing school director to identify specific course equivalencies for transfer.  Non-nursing courses may be taken before enrollment in nursing courses, but not later than sequentially required.
 
*Select one of the following courses:  ENGL 2322, ENGL 2326, ENGL 2333, ENGL 2334, FREN, HUMA, PHIL, Span 1501 or higher, HIST 1302 or 2301.
 
Science Courses (CHEM, MICRO, and A&P) must be completed within the last ten (10) years or they must be re-taken.
 
It is strongly recommended that ALL SCIENCES COURSES be completed prior to entering the program.  
 
Non-nursing courses may be taken before enrollment in nursing courses, but no later than sequentially required.
 
If courses are not completed as required, the student must complete them before
progressing in the program.
 
YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO HAVE A COMPUTER WITH A DVD PLAYER AND INTERNET ACCESS WHILE ENROLLED IN THE ADN PROGRAM.
